If this current arc tells you anything, it’s that I’m spending way too much time on Tik Tok of late. I figure I might as well enjoy it while I can, before it goes the way of twitter.
As I continue my fall into the rabbit hole hell that is social media, I did want to point out an account I recently discovered that I find absolutely fascinating.
The account name is ‘Shawn Grows’, and each post he makes is about a specific plant, or crop. He shares a little about the history, the uses and the effects of global trade. They’re less than a minute long, and I feel like I’ve learned more in the last week about where our food comes from then I have in the past few decades.
I highly recommend giving Shawn a follow.
