Larchive Friday – Colouring Pages

Fridays, we open the Larchives, Lar’s extensive archive of art work oddities, and share a few pieces. Sometimes there will be a theme, or a reason behind the choices. Other times there will be none.

Normally the Larchive blog is dedicated to artwork from the online repository of past Lar DeSouza artwork that I have access to and you don’t! Bow before me, your gatekeeper to Lar’s art! However, this isn’t the only place on the Internet where you can find Lar’s art. For example, he has a Pinterest page dedicated to black and white artwork. Perfect to download, print, and colour, yourself or with kids. Here are a few samples.

Gorgonopsid Rhamphorhynchus Pirate

Lar did a series of dinosaur pirates. This one’s my favourite.

Wake Up, Sheeple!

How can you see a picture this adorable with a title that clever and not fall deeply in love with Lar?

Adora The Explorer

As a parent who got upset when my daughter watched new episodes of She-Ra without me, and who just saw the bizarre live Dora movie, I have accidentally made this pun multiple times recently. Also, I am printing this out to colour this weekend as I type this.

For The Kiddies

The Blind Ferret shop blowout is the perfect opportunity to shop for the children in your life.

No, for serious! Between our selection of plushies and kid-friendly LICD Beginnings, there’s a lot for kids going for cheap. And don’t sleep on The Bear, a series of paintings with words of wisdom and inspiration, all wrapped in a soft cover.
