Friday Lart – Who You Gonna Text (and who makes calls anymore)?
Fridays, we open the Larchives, Lar’s extensive archive of art work oddities, and share a few pieces.
Oh, were you in the middle of a series two weeks ago? Don’t mind Hollywood, it’s just over here releasing Wheel of Time, Cowboy Bebop, Arcane, Masters of the Universe: Revelation, Hawkeye series, and the new Ghostbusters sequel within 10 days of each other.
Surprisingly, I couldn’t find Lar art of most of the above, so I gathered up some of my favourite Lar Ghostbusters pieces, and I’ll see what I can find for next week. Surely Lar’s done at least three Hawkeye pieces!
There Is No Baby Yoda, Only Grogu
Why are two giant Baby Yodas acting as Keymaster and Gatekeeper for Gozer? Maybe Lar has a reason. He’s like Dan Ackroyd in that way. You can ask Ackroyd any question you have about Ghostbusters, as long as you have three hours to spare and can visualize power point explanations to organize the mess of theology, the supernatural, and working in Hollywood.
Strap in and pour yourself some vodka from a glass skull.
Now I Have A Proton Pack
If you were wondering why Slimer didn’t appear in Ghostbusters: Afterlife, it’s because he made the mistake of haunting Nakatomi Plaza.
Climb on the Magic Ecto-1
I may have shared this one before, based on Kate McKinnon following up her role as Holtsman in Ghostbusters: Answer The Call with a turn as Ms. Frizzle’s younger sister Fiona on The Magic School Bus Rides Again.
Bust A Dick
Sometimes, you need to cross the LICD and LFG streams.
