Friday Larchive – GTFO

Fridays, we open the Larchives, Lar’s extensive archive of art work oddities, and share a few pieces. Sometimes there will be a theme, or a reason behind the choices. Other times there will be none.

Sometimes the theme of a Friday Larchive is topical, be it political or pop cultural. Sometimes it reflects what’s happening in the comics. And sometimes I stumble across a piece of Lart that I don’t understand, but I want -nay, need- to share. Like these Monopoly-style Get Out Of Reationship Jail Free cards with Sohmer’s face instead of Rich Uncle Pennybags.

The files are dated January 23, 2017, although that could be a date the original files were copied. They’re in a folder called …gelaskins\gencon advert\get out of jail for sohmer. I worked the Gen Con 2017 booth for Blind Ferret and do not recall seeing these then, or before or since other than this week.

Of course I could ask Sohmer or Lar where these came from, but I’d rather let my imagination run wild trying to solve the mystery.
