DAD
I was sitting here.

KITCHEN. RAYNE makes his pitch.
RAYNE
I require an axe.
RAYNE stops DAD before he can speak.
RAYNE
And before you go on about all the reasons why I don’t need an axe;
RAYNE pulls out a piece of paper.
RAYNE
I have one word for you that says why I do.
RAYNE slides the paper across the table to DAD.
DAD reads the paper, RAYNE assumes this is a done deal.
DAD
This just says ‘Kraken’.
RAYNE
I’m thinking of a rubber handle, will really help with grip.
