TITLE BOX
In the title box, a sick RAYNE hops up onto the DOCTOR's exam table.
DOCTOR
What's going on?
MOM
Sore throat, coughing, fever.
NEXT PANEL, RAYNE's eyes go wide.
DOCTOR
I'll do a strep test.
NEXT ROW
DOCTOR'S OFFICE. RAYNE, ignoring how he feels, lays out 2 paths for the DOCTOR.
RAYNE
There is a fork in the road.
RAYNE gestures down one path.
RAYNE
Down one path, lies crying, screaming and the high potential of projectile vomit.
And down the other path.
RAYNE
Down the other, a quieter path where you pre-emptively write a prescription for antibiotics and we part ways as friends.
The DOCTOR reaches for the prescription pad. MOM nods, as does RAYNE.
DOCTOR
I'll write the prescription.
MOM
Wise choice.
RAYNE
The road less travelled was covered in tears and puke.
