TITLE BOX
In the title box, RAYNE has a quarter in his mouth, and he's chewing down with all his might.
Next panel, RAYNE, still biting down on it, chuckles at the reader.
RAYNE
It's a Bite coin.
NEXT ROW
SCHOOL – SCHOOLYARD. A BULLY is towering over RAYNE, who is lying on the ground.
BULLY
Get up!
RAYNE
But then you'll just push me down again.
RAYNE
Seems counterproductive.
The BULLY insults him, but RAYNE doesn't take it that way, and instead nods earnestly.
BULLY
You fight like a girl.
RAYNE
I wish.
The BULLY is getting fed up.
BULLY
You're too stupid to beat up.
RAYNE
Stick and stones may break my bones;
RAYNE
But words will never hurt me.
The BULLY is getting more frustrated, as RAYNE's eyes narrow as we see JOHN returning in the background with an arm full of stuff.
BULLY
What does that even mean?
RAYNE
When John comes back with those sticks and stones I asked for, you'll find out.
