Dad: Your mother had her years before we met.

Mom: Teen pregnancy wasn’t as common back then as it is now.
Mom: In the 60’s, if you were a pregnant unmarried 16 year old, they hid you away until you gave birth.
Mom: And as much as I wanted to keep her, my father insisted that I give the baby up for adoption.
