Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes…

After months of work, and weeks of testing and beta testing, we’re finally launching the new LICD.com site.

There will be a period of adjustment for all of us, considering the last time we switched the site was a good 5 years ago. But change is good, or so everyone in my life keeps yelling at me while I’m wrapped in my blanket in the fetal position on the ground.

Please note: There will be bugs. You’ll help us find them, we’ll fix them.

Among the aforementioned changes, here are some of the big ones-

Patreon

You’ll notice at the very top of this page is a login button to Patreon. We’re now offering an ad free experience to those who want in (makes the site blazing fast), as well as opportunities for exclusive content, including new strips.

There are 3 tiers, at 2$, 5$ and 10$ a month.

Big Ass Strips

One of the things I really wanted to offer in the new site was the ability to see the strips as big as Lar draws them. Considering the majority of us have these massive monitors, why are we still looking at strips that are only 1,000 pixels wide?

Infinite Scrolling

When you’re in the archive diving, be sure to simply scroll down to have more strips loaded for you. It’s our way of making reading the strips easier and more intuitive then clicking the next and previous buttons.

That said, the next and previous buttons are still there because I didn’t want a mutiny.

Like I said, this is a work in progress so please be patient over the next few days as we work out the kinks.
