Random & 2 Things

Before I get into a few site updates, just wanted to mention a few random things that have been on my brain-

  • Last Samurai Standing, on Netflix. Watch it with subtitles, but most importantly, watch it. Great series, from start to finish.
  • Call of Duty Black Ops 7 is the first call of duty game in 30 years I wasn’t able to get through the campaign on. Just bonkers, and not for me.
  • Alone, Season 12. It was set in Africa, with the largest game around. So why was it the most boring of the seasons to date?
  • Landman is a great series, but why do they need to spend 40% of each episode on either scenic shots, or Tommy driving?
  • The Witcher, Season 4. Hemsworth is no Henry Cavill, but he does a fine job, just a different take.
  • Why am I still playing Fortnite? And why am I enjoying the Simpsons season so much?
  • Jurassic World Chaos Theory is the most interesting JP-related entertainment to come out in years.
  • Tik Tok is getting impossible to enjoy anymore with all the AI slop. I spend more time figuring out what’s real or fake.

In other news, you RSS nerds will be pleased to know that the feed is fully operational once again.

We also did a complete rebuild of the archive page (which we’re still going to tweak). We finally moved off a plugin that was last updated in 2018, onto a new one with a funny name, Toocheke (which I will not even attempt to pronounce).

Hope your monday was good, goobers.
