February’s theme is playing cards!
Sorry, might have gotten ahead of myself.
In case you don’t know, LICD artist Lar DeSouza starts every year fundraising to support the MS Society. In exchange for a $40 donation, you can get a custom avatar from Lar, based on a different theme each month. This month’s these is playing cards.
Lar can turn you into a face card in the classic style (I want to say Bicycle invented the style, but they might just be the publisher that I associate it with), with a custom suit, your initial in the corner, and details based on your interest. Mine is all about tabletop RPGs!
It’s brilliant in its simplicity, and multipurpose in its use. Add a novelty joker to your deck! Use it as the back of your business card! Hide it in your sleeve at a high stakes game of poker run by organized crime and have a good laugh when they think they catch you cheating and are about to kill you!
Here’s The Deal
From now until February 28th, 2022, donate $40 to the MS Society and Lar will make you a Playing Card Caricature. If you’d like to include a second person, say you and a loved one on opposite , Lar asks for an additional $40 donation per additional face.

- Donate $40 or more for an avatar, plus $40 for every extra face.
- Email your donation confirmation to [email protected] along with a current selfie and any requests.
- Lar will email you a high res JPEG to print and a low res jpeg for social media.
All avatars will be delivered on or before March 7th, 2022.
