In the title box, DAD walks by RAYNE’s closed door, and calls inside.
DAD
What are you doing in there?
RAYNE
Building a paper airplane.
NEXT PANEL, Cut to RAYNE’s room, where has thousands of pages of paper all around the room, and is taping them together to make one giant airplane.
NEXT ROW
OUTSIDE – ROOF. RAYNE, now holding his giant paper airplane on the snow covered roof of his house, looks off the ledge.
With a run and a jump, RAYNE jumps off the roof.
The plane, clearly not catching any air, just causes RAYNE to spin and spin-
And spin, and land into a snowdrift below.
DAD is waiting by, holding a shovel, while RAYNE is lying there in the wreckage of his plane.
DAD
And what did we learn?
RAYNE
I should have built a helicopter.
