HOME – ROOM. RAYNE is lying in bed feeling sorry for himself when MOM walks in.
MOM
Do you want to talk about it?
MOM sits on his bed.
RAYNE
You know that voice in your head that tells you when you’re doing something wrong?
MOM

RAYNE shakes his head.
RAYNE
I don’t have that.

My voice just says-
RAYNE yells.

MOM grimaces.
