I Challenge All of You

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve no doubt heard about the Ice Bucket Challenge that’s been tearing through pop culture and the interwebs with an almost Psy-like fervor.

If you have been living under a rock, you should get out from under there. It could smush you.

I’ve never been a huge fan of dumping a bucket of ice water on my head, but I am rather fond of supporting medical research.

That said, yesterday I was challenged 5 times, so I’ll be donating $500 to ALS research.

And in the meantime, I’ll stay warm. And dry.

Quote of the Day

“The charity that is a trifle to us can be precious to others.”

GenCon, Booth #541

I’m sure there was a time when I viewed the summer as the season of rest and relaxation. That time is more myth and legend to me now.

Lar, Moss, Will, Costello and myself are headed to Indianapolis this week for GenCon. Hands down, GenCon is my favorite show of the year, so you’ll find no bullshit when I say I’m really looking forward to it.

You can find us at Booth #541, along with my lover, Randal Milholland-Sohmer.

Come see us, yes?

Quote of the Day

“Laughter and tears are both responses to frustration and exhaustion. I myself prefer to laugh, since there is less cleaning up to do afterward.”
-Kurt Vonnegut

San Diego Comic Con, Booth #1231

In a few short hours, I’ll be on my way to San Diego, where we’ll once again be attending at an obscure little show the natives calls ‘San Diego Comic Con’ or ‘Whatssis’, as I prefer.

You can find Lar, Moss, Will and I at booth #1231 for the duration of the show. We’ve got a ton of new fun stuff, and even more to talk about it.

And 1,000 points to anyone who can find me Scheckter’s Organic Energy drinks and brings them to me. You know what?

Make it 2,000.

-Because I Can.

Quote of the Day

“Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means ‘a whale’s vagina.”
