Emerald City Comicon, Booth #1314

I’m not sure exactly how this happened, maybe an invention of them creationists or something, but it’s somehow time to leave for our first convention of the 2014.

On Thursday, Lar, Moss, Will and myself will be heading off to The Emerald City Comicon, where you can find us at Booth #1314 for the duration of the weekend. If that’s not enough, on Friday at 10am, Lar and I will be doing a panel called ’10 Years of LICD’.

We’ll have plenty of new and fun stuff on hand to sign and sell, plus, Lar will be doing commissions. He’s nice that way.

Do come by and see us, won’t you?

Please?

A COO-PONE!

Will, Costello and whoever else helped (not me) have been hard at work these last few weeks in re-building the shop from scratch, and I’m proud to say, it’s now open for business.

To celebrate the grand re-opening, we’re offering up 5$ off every order for the next week, with the coupon “NEWBFESHOP2014”

What Just Happened.

I’m the first person to point out the lack of journalism in today’s media organization, so it’s only fair that when someone, or something, surprises me, I let you folks know.

So I issue the following statement, in the long running feature called ‘Things I’d Never Thought I’d Say’:

There may, may just be a News Anchor at CNN who is allowed to put the word ‘Journalist’ on his business card.

His name is Chris Cuomo, host of CNN’s New Day, and from time to time, when they let him off his puff-piece leash, he can interview and dissect with the best of them. He is well spoken, intelligent, respectful and relentless.

I’ve listened and watched a good dozen interviews he’s conducted over the last few months, and I’m impressed.

So I suppose it’s only a matter of time before CNN shitcans him for someone who knows more about Justin Bieber.

But for now, I think I’m in love.
